I love the smell of air after rain.

I'm obsessed with editing other people's works, but I hate editing my own.

I have a habit of biting the inside of my lip. And now it hurts.

Destroying earphones after a month is my trademark.

I don't really know what to do with my life.

I love all music.

Pop. Rock. Reggae. Classic. Indie. Slasa. Metal. Emo. Electronica. Country. R&B. Drum and Bass.

I'm into funky colours.

I try to follow the British way of writing. Though sometimes I get mixed up.

I have a thing for foreign accents.

While I don't have a "type" when it comes to guys, usually it's the blonde haired&blue eyed guys that catch my attention.

I'm in love with Edinburgh & Scotland.

I'm DONE with the International Baccalaureate Programme.

My final exams started on May 4th, 2009.

And ended on May 21st, 2009.

I passed with 32 points.

I consider that a success.

I love salty licorice candy.

I really, really, really, really can't stand fish.

I've become a pro at making delicious scrambled eggs because every Sunday my dad requests scrambled eggs for breakfast. So I always get stuck doing the food.

I prefer baking over cooking.

My name is Joanna Katarzyna Chlon

I love nicknames.

Mojojuju. Jojo. Gypsy Hobo. Zajosz (Za-yo-shh). Asiulek. Rambler.

I'm 19 on December 25th.

My passport is Polish.

But I'm a citizen of Europe.

I've lived most of my life aboard.

Finland, Belgium, Estonia, Poland.

I currently live in Scotland. So far, I love it. I think I finally found my place in this world.

I'm an undergraduate student at the University of Dundee.
I'm taking English, History and Psychology, though only English and History are for my MA degree.

I'm have somewhat of a stalker-esque nature. Though not the extreme kind. I'm just interested in people.

Editing would be a pretty friggin’ sweet job. Maybe I could get paid for editing people's works in French.

I trust too easily.

I'm gullible.

I don't embarrass easily.

I'm bad at making friends.

Though I love the ones I do manage to make.

I would do anything for them, even if they lived across the ocean from me.

I'm naturally shy. When it comes to boys.

Unless they're my friends.

Buy my flowers and I'll probably act in a very girly fashion.

I don't like meeting guys at clubs or bars.

I'm pretty old fashioned when it comes to that.

I'd prefer meeting a guy at a coffee shop or in the park.

I'm a romantic at heart?

I would "aww" if a guy would get me a kitten for my birthday.

I've never been in love.

I believe in fairytales.

Aladdin is my favourite Disney movie next to The Lion King.

I hate modern Disney. I love Demi, but Camp Rock made me cringe.

I’m not gonna let my kids watch the Disney Channel.

I'm too emotional and sentimental for my own good.

My Best Wasn't Good Enough - K's Choice feat Anouk

Thu Jul 9, 2009, 4:31 AM
Dear You,

I want to write a novel. I want to write something that could inspire or help someone else. I want to write something that has a meaning. Something that is not just some nonsense teenage cliche. I want to write something that could make someone open their eyes on a matter, or that could help them through a rough spot they're in.

I think all writers want to write something like that. And how many of them actually accomplish that? I have many ideas for novels that I think could be good. Perhaps not world-known bestsellers, but could reach some popularity among some people. But here's the problem - whenever I start writing something I can never seem to finish it. Not once have I written a novella and finished it. I've written short stories of seven pages, three pages, etc, but that's not the kind of writing I'm talking about.

I've began writing one novella. I have a plan for it too. That one, I think I shall never publish online in fear of it getting plagiarised by someone. But what if despite that, I still don't finish it? I don't really want to think of that possibility. I want this one to be my official first publishing. Perhaps because I'm putting actual pieces of me in it? And not those of an imagined situation and person?

Cheers,

-- Joanna.
